Well, It has been quite some time since I have had a chance to update our little blog. The face paced life that we all face has reached out and grabbed hold of our ankles. There always seems to be something pulling and tugging us in one direction or another.
Last time I wrote we had been to Nashville on a little trip. I'll try to catch you up as best I can. Believe it or not, we have had very little drama. This is not something Leah or myself has been able to say in quite some time. After all the first time we ever did anything together I dumped her off my fourwheeler in a mud whole(water over her shoulders). We should have known from that point that our lives would be quite intresting together. :)
The reason for minimal posts is that Leah is in the final stages of her pregnancy. We have made multiple trips to the McLeod Regional Medical Center. A couple of times for irritable pain, and once to stop contractions that were about 5 minutes apart. That night was pretty intresting. Leah was going to call me to let me know what the nurses had determined. I had come in from Columbia and went straight to church. She calls to let me know she was having contractions and they were going to stop them, that she would be okay and that her parents were there. She was about 34 weeks at this time. So here I am on call, trying to lead worship, and then had to teach. I apologized to the kids for my lack of concentration and they all understood. I dismissed class a few minutes early and immediately called Leah to make sure they both were okay.
We visited once again during week 35. They told us not to worry and when the contractions were about 3-5 minutes apart just to come on back and bring a car seat with us. Reality check!!
Since then things have been smooth. Leah has changed jobs. She now works here at home which I love most about the arrangements. When I get home she has everything spic and span with supper on the table. Can I get an AMEN? Thank you! She really loves it and I am happy that she will be able to stay home and raise our son. We feel really blessed that she is able to be here.
That kind of catches you up a little. I have pictures from a shower and a recent momma picture I'll post next .
