Time Flies
Greetings from Hartsville. I have been a little negligent on the blog side of things here lately. My apologies. The new job keeps me pretty stretched out. When I do arrive home I try to spend as much time as I can with Jackson before he drifts off to sleep. Then I save the rest of my evening for mamma and the chores that await me. The last time I wrote I had been fishing and having a jolly ole tome. Not so much here lately. Work has brought about a whole new list of chores. I find myself struggling to get home before the rest of the family is winding down. Jackson has changed drastically in just one month. He currently has four teeth and is now cutting two more. Crawling cant be more than just a few days away and we really feel like walking wont be too much longer after that. He still sports his red hair and now has a sly grin as he speaks a language only understood by babies. For Easter we went to the Broaches. We surprised my mom and dad at their church on Sunday Morning. We seldom get to visit because of our own responsibilities at our church, but it was a nice treat. Afterwards we joined the whole family at my parents house for a home cooked meal. My sister Joni and her two kids were there. Leah, myself, and Jackson were there and my brother and his family all got together. It was a very nice outing. My grandparents and my mothers siblings also crashed the party. Our traditional easter egg hunt, the one that I held the lucky egg title for 3 years running finally came to an end. Joni overtook the thrown which made for good family fun. We wrapped up our weekend with a drive back to Hartsville to start a new week all over. I'll try to post a few new pics of Jackson.
