It's Christmas Time

Greetings again from Harts-vegas SC. It is that time again for the season of Christmas. This time of year always gives us a chance to reflect back on the details of that Holy night in Bethlehem when Jesus was born. What a night it must have been. Today Christmas is often mired by the commercialism of the season. This reminder is so important as we close out yet another year.
This year Jackson is a a year and a half old. My how time flies. This has been an amazing year. To watch a child grow from six months to 18 months is truly an experience no one can explain, only experience. He has found a love for music that is exciting to see. In the pictures above, Leah had gotten him ready for church and we were gathering our last few items. He found my hunting flashlight and began singing into it like he knew exactly what a microphone was and exactly how to use it. It was truly something cool to see. He loves music and ball. I mean what can I say he got it honest!! He also loves his momma and he got that honest too!! As we reflect and look back on how a child began Christmas many years ago, it is exciting to see as Jackson begins his journeys of Christmas' now. May we never forget the real meaning of Christmas. We wish you all a Merry Christmas.
