Snow, Duke, Super Bowl and the baby boy

Greetings for my second post for the month of January. First of all as many of you know we had a little snow here recently. Leah and Jackson were able to enjoy it. The most I got to enjoy was a pretty intense snowball fight after work with the boys. Duke should be ranked #1 today. That has not been accomplished in almost three years. The Super Bowl is coming up this weekend...and I can't really tell you who is in the game. My hunting seasons are finally winding down and now I turn back to the wonderful woes of house maintenance. Jackson who is my main topic as usual, once again steals the show. We took him to a kids jamboree yesterday and he had the time of his life. He petted all the animals, played some games and won some prizes. Then he and Leah did some of the bouncy air filled jumpy things while I videoed. Then he closed the evening with some Chinese food that made him sick. He continues to amaze us with the things his mind can capture even at a young age. He is our pride and joy and we thank God for him everyday. We hope all is well out there!

Happy New Year!!

Well a new year is upon us and I've posted just a few pictures to catch you up on whats been going on lately. First of all we had a great time during Christmas. Leah and I were both off about two weeks which worked out great. For Christmas we spent had a little time of just us and a good bit of time with family. We spent Christmas morning at home with Jackson and his new toys, then we went over to Doug and Patty's for lunch and then moved on to my parents later that evening. I surprised Leah this year with a new ride, well new to us. She was really excited. The explorer is still going strong, but an upgrade was needed. The explorer had been with me for 8 years. 160,000 in 8 years....WOW. That thing should be in a Ford commercial. It is a great car with lots of memories. We also made the trip to Ohio during our time off. Unfortunately we were all very sick. I haven't heard but I hope we didn't pass it along to any relatives. Well my time has run short. The last picture there is of a couple buffle heads I killed in the outer banks this year. We hope all is well. Uncle Mike wants us to post more so I will try to post twice a month now!! Thats my goal!! See ya!
